Johnny C. Benjamin Jr., M.D., FAAOS

Growing up in Houston, Texas, sports have always been and continue to be an integral part of Dr. Benjamin's life.  After graduating from Baylor University, he completed his medical degree at the University of Texas-Southern Medical School in Dallas, TX.

Dr. Benjamin fullfilled his general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Temple Unviersity Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. To conclude his 14th year of training, Dr. Benjamin completed his surgical spine fellowship at the Florida Spine Institute.

Dr. Benjamin was the past Chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Indian River Medical Center and currently serve as the director of the Medical Specialities Surgery Center. He is a board-certified fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Dr. Benjamin enjoys contributing to the community by promoting endeavors that help create opportunities for children.
